*Fun Facts About Me*

🍏  My favorite color is green. 
🍉  My favorite snack is fruit of any kind.
🐴  My favorite animal is a horse.
 🧚🏼 My favorite bug is the dragonfly.
 5️⃣ My favorite number is 5.
🪁  If I could have any superpower, it would be to fly.
🍫 One of my favorite movies is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
🏖️ My favorite place to visit is the beach.
🍁  My favorite time of year is the fall.
🐸  My favorite sound is the sound of the tree frogs who sing to me in my backyard at night.
🧸  A silly thing about me is that I literally talk to the stuffed animals in my office and have named all of them, over 30 in total. My office was my Pediatric Occupational Therapy clinic, so it has all kinds of fun things in there. (See below for a few of my friends)

Sharon Y. Edlin lives in a whimsical world where dragonflies wink, trees listen, and the stuffed animals in her office talk back (very politely, of course). Now in her 50's, she still hasn't grown up—and hopes she never will.

She sees pictures in clouds, sings with the birds, and believes laughter might just be the best kind of magic. Sharon has been writing stories since she was a kid, and her imagination still runs wild—especially when she's giving voices to things most people don't expect to talk, like spiders and sea creatures.

For over 30 years, Sharon worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and founded Dragonfly Pediatric Therapy, helping children grow strong, confident, and proud of who they are. Now, through her books, she carries the same mission into storytelling—creating playful, comforting stories that help children feel safe, seen, and loved. To Sharon, success isn't about numbers; it's about the joy of knowing that even if one child treasures one of her stories enough to call it their favorite, she has done her job. 

She lives in Alabama with her husband, a shelf full of story ideas, and a heart full of wonder. 

Sharon publishes her work under Daisy & Dragonfly Books, a whimsical imprint filled with heart, hugs, and her signature hidden dragonflies.
